Macildowie have been engaged to recruit a Parts & Inventory Manager for a market leading manufacturer. Their products and services are widely known and well regarded throughout the construction, mining, and oil and gas sectors. Their reputation has been built on a commitment to deliver outstanding insight and customer support for more than 50 years.

The UK business continues to perform strongly, and as a result they now have an immediate need to recruit a highly experienced Parts & Inventory Manager. Whilst this role will be based in Northants, there will be a need to travel within the UK on a regular basis to fully meet the operational needs of the business.
The position is ideally suited to a Parts / Inventory Manager that has a strong technical background gained within an industrial, construction, plant or manufacturing environment.

Key skills:
*Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with all key stakeholders, both internal and external - colleagues, suppliers and clients
*Ability to maintain proper parts inventory levels; ensuring client requirements are fully met in a reliable and timely manner
*Ability to fully harness the IT systems in use to ensure appropriate records are created and maintained; spares / order tracking etc.
*Ability to develop and follow action plans as well as an ability to prioritise and multi-task
*Demonstrate a sound commercial understanding, and the need to deliver profitable outcomes
*Ability to lead, manage and coach team members in Parts / Warehousing operations
*Knowledge of parts pricing procedures
*Maintain detailed knowledge and understanding of new models, based on technical service bulletins and surveys
