Procurement Manager, Global FF&E & R&M

The role of a Procurement Manager is to manage and develop the FF&E and R&M supply chains and drive out cost and time from the development processes and associated capital and revenue spend. Using the model cost process to highlight savings opportunities. The role makes a measurable contribution to the business by negotiating the most favourable supplier terms and conditions and managing supplier relationships.

Day to day the role will:

Deliver the procurement strategy with the development, implementation and maintenance of optimal sourcing for all key spend areas across the portfolio

Manage the tender process with negotiation and implementation of supplier agreements

Supplier management which involves the development and implementation of appropriate activities for all key suppliers within your portfolio

Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and senior management as appropriate

You will be working on continuous maintenance and update of marketing insight regarding your specific function including best practices, trends and key suppliers. Your development of documented category strategy plans are in collaboration with senior stakeholders and your 12 month plan covers planned stakeholder initiatives, procurement initiatives and contract renewals.

You will be responsible to determine the appropriate approach to market, develop the documentation associated with agreement and ensure signatures received. You will be an expert in negotiation to maximise savings and optimise price, quality and service. Relationships will be developed with appropriate stakeholders and senior management across the business.

Experienced in procurement strategy development and implementation

An understanding of relevant industry and supply chain practices

Highly credible in front of the senior stakeholders

Can work under broad direction but is very self-sufficient in approach

Sourcing plan development and implementation

Knowledge of procurement execution (business requirements analysis, market analysis, sourcing strategy, tender, negotiation)
