Production Manager in a successful and fast-growing manufacturer // £30-40k depending on level of experience

Your new company
A fast-growing and highly successful manufacturer based near the Chester area. As a result of continued business growth, this organisation is seeking an experienced Production Manager to head up the production process.

Your new role
Your overall responsibility will be to oversee the effective and efficient production process of a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As part of this role, you will maximise efficiency within the process whilst still ensuring high quality product is produced by employing effective quality control checks. You will also be responsible for producing reports on the efficiency and the overall productivity of the process, as well as regular stock checks. Health and Safety is of paramount importance, so you will ensure that the facility is entirely compliant with H&S and DSEAR regulations. You will also be responsible for team management to deliver excellent results.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have prior experience in a similar position, ideally from a production/manufacturing background. You will have strong computer skills, particularly in MS Excel. It would be ideal if you have an understanding of MRP planning software, but Excel is the main piece of software you will use in your day-to-day operations. A hands-on and ambitious attitude is essential for this role, as you will be a role model to other employees. You will have experience in people management, including disciplinary meetings, return to work, recruiting staff etc.
